Mary River Festival 2008"Celebrating with Mary"

The 2008 Mary River Festival, 'Celebrating with Mary' was a huge success and brought many cultures together to celebrate our river, our environment and our communities.

The days activities offered our community the chance to experience a full range of music, art and culture, ranging from Russian Dancing to the spectacular Twilight Lantern Parade with a Cuban Carnival Rhythm.

The multi cultural theme also included the opportunity to enjoy a delicious range of food, from Chinese Dumplings to Filipino Seafood.

The children where kept very busy with a wide range of activities from a Jumping Castle to Art Workshops.
