Festival Mission Statement
Our mission is to increase the awareness of the unique Mary River environment through recreation and celebration.
We are committed to empowering the communities along the Mary River by showcasing local creativity, projects, ideas, resources, culture that enhance and protect the unique environment of the Mary River catchment, while featuring workshops and exhibits, entertainment and children’s activities in a festival atmosphere.
We strive to Inform, Entertain and Inspire.

·A holistic approach to management of the Mary River catchment where environmental stewardship is the norm
·Communities within the catchment are actively involved in maintaining and enhancing the health of the unique ecosystems in the Mary River catchment for future generations.

From 17th - 21st October - Putting up signs, promotions
Friday 21st October - Put up marquees and general site preparation for RFFD.
Saturday 22nd October - Gate keepers, site decortion, general help.
Sunday 23rd October - Pull down marquees and clean up site.
From 7th - 11th November - Putting up signs, promotions
Friday 11th November - Put up marquees and general site preparation
Saturday 12th November
Tree planting - Gate keepers - Putting out tables and chairs
Traffic marshals - Site decoration - Crowd control
Check toilets and rubbish bins - Stage assistance
Parade assistance and marshalls - Workshop assistance
Assisting stalls and markets - Conveynor for arrival and departure of stalls - Survey collection - Documenting (camera and video) - Meet and greet sponsors
Sunday 13th November
Pull down and pack marquees
Clean up grounds - Return tables and chairs
Return equipment - Put out rubbish
Monday 14th November
Return marquees (trailer required)
We would love your company and your assistance.
You can help out in a variety of ways for both the Festival (MRF) and the River Family Fun Day (RFFD)

Check with Mary Valley Heritage Rail for rail motor going out at 5pm and returning 8.45pm. May be about 20 seats available.
